BARNA bike
The BARNA bike is a showcase we did to show what options we offer. The overall package of options goes far beyond the design and engineering of a bicycle frame itself. We can offer both the initial conception of a potential new model, as well as the graphics for it, right through to the marketing material in order to be able to inform the targeted group of buyers accordingly.
AREVO / EVE9 Project
We did the design and engineering for the EVE9 model for the Pilot Distribution Group from the Netherlands. This bike is produced using AREVO's revolutionary new process, whereby the carbon fibers are laid using a 3D printer.
CARGO Project
We have already dealt extensively with the topic of cargo. Here you can see a Long John with a carbon frame, which we designed as a showcase to show that we also have sufficient know-how in this segment. Most projects are subject to secrecy, so it is often difficult to show current examples. In this way we are able to present an accurate picture of what you can expect from us.
KAMEMO Bikes
We have been entirely responsible for the complete design and engineering process of these brand new KAMEMO Bikes. They are absolute high-end bike frames, utilising a revolutionary rear suspension system, completely fabricated out of highest grade of carbon fibres.
KAMEMO Bikes
There are both a male as well as a female version of these bikes, sharing the same rear triangle suspension system. This system features a completely hidden rear shock, through which we were able to combine a super comfortable riding experience, with a mostly conventional product character. Next to this project, we cooperate with KAMEMO on many other very interesting projects.
MALAGUTI Bicycles
We are responsible for the bicycle brand MALAGUTI of the KSR Group from Austria through both consultation as well as product development and product management. Therefore we have a great deal of responsibility in shaping the actual brands portfolio.
Interjet / Modular - Open Mould Project
In cooperation with Interjet Co. JP, we have developed a complete portfolio of open mould aluminium eBike frames.
In this portfolio a lot of different modells ranging from City, over SUV, Gravel, all the way up to eMTB Hardtail and Fullsuspension are included. On top of that, most common drive systems are incorporated, such as Shimano STePS, Bosch, Mahle and Valeo.
These frames are manufactured in one of worlds best aluminium bicycle frame factories, and are therefore characterised by the best possible quality features.

e-Ndure Prototype 2009
we invented the eMTB
Already back in 2009/2010, our idea, a concept for an electrically assisted full-suspension mountain bike, could be put into practice. At that time, we defined the guidelines for an eMTB in the way the current eBike fullies actually have developed to;
a fully integrated midship motor and an integrated downtube battery, thus creating a low center of gravity, which gives the bike an absolutely similar riding sensation to any conventional mountain bike. On top of that, without any preconception, we even designed the functional principle of sensor technology inside the motor, which is still applied by the current industry leaders in the exact same way.
GHOST e-Hybride Trail 2011
The world's very first production eMTB including a fully integrated downtube battery, was already designed by us back in 2011! Based on the Accell Group ION drive unit, we made the ebike phenomenon ready for the mountain bike scene. It is now obvious that this trend has become the most far-reaching revolution in the mountain bike market since years.

Serial winner!
One of the many products that bicycledesign.studo founder Bastiaan Thijs designed for GHOST Bikes is the legendary AMR. An absolute bestseller that has won numerous test victories in the specialist press. With this bike, GHOST Bikes achieved its economic breakthrough in numerous markets.
